RE: Thinking of an aluminum grill, is it safe?

i cook on an aluminum grate in our grill, it is teflon coated, and have been doing it for about 8 years, maybe thats why we keep aging so fast.

RE: landau or windsport

they are both about the same ,imo. the landaus are no longer being made and the windsport is. we originally started looking at the landau while having a pursuit, but gbm stopped the production. i like the windsport a little more then the gbm. they have a rich looking interior.

RE: windshield screens, see though.

Billyboy, how did you form the edges of your shadescreens? I see the guys in the parks using a sewing machine, but I assume that is a specialty machine for the purpose. Thanks i sewed them on a regular sewing machine, but a good one. i used 3/4 aluminum bar from home depot to go in the pockets, and bungee cord to pull the sides back to small metal brackets that i made that hook on the windows. looks great and we really like them. the material is not that bad to sew.

RE: windshield screens, see though.

if you want to make your own and are handy, you can buy the material at "quality window screen company on line. i did and saved about 70%

RE: WHY WOULD YOU BUY ONLINE OUT Of STATE

because there is not many dealers in our area and the ones we have change manufactures every year and then they don't want to do anything for you but take your money once you have bought from them. we always end up buying out of state, better pricing far and away!

RE: water filter

RE: Coastline Tow shield dilemma

i had the same thing happen after about 4 uses of the cover. they sent me a couple of the clip things and i sewed them on myself and didn't worry about the little bit of paint being scuffed off.

RE: State parks

billyboy, Does that extra $2 a day really make it a "rip off"? How touchy are you? The last time we were in Maryland or to be more specific; DC, Annapolis, Hagerstown, Cumberland, Baltimore, nothing was cheap! Very expensive state to visit or RV in. Actually the whole East Coast is very pricey. Its not 2.00, its 8.00 extra each day for each vehicle plus the camp fee. you won't pay that on the east coast. also in md., if you have a golden age pass, you get the campsite for half price, try that im michigan.

RE: State parks

if your an out of state camper, michigan state parks really screw you, more then any other state does. Explain please. well they charged us a registration fee per day for the car and a registration fee per day for the motorhome which was only going to sit there while we used the car, plus the campground fee for the site. the private parks would have been cheaper. Non-Resident "DAILY" State Park Motor Vehicle Permit $8 Towed Vehicle Permit (only available to individuals who tow a second motor vehicle with a motor home) $6--WHEN YOU STAY IN A STATE PARK HERE IN MD, YOU AS A NON RESIDENT PAY THE SAME AS I DO. Michigan Rip off

RE: Crimp connectors for AC wire?

what gets me is that a lot of the boxes available now are plastic. metal used to be safe, creamic compo was safe, but plastic? plastic melts too.

RE: Windsport - any good?

we just bought an 08 32 windsport, and it seems to be put together better then most we have looked at. only have 2500 miles on it and it rides like a dream.
